Trailer: The Interview (2014)

Following on from the success of Pineapple Express and This Is The End, Rogen and Franco are back with their particular brand of dude comedy in The Interview, which on paper boasts one of the more original ideas for a buddy movie. Franco plays a famous late night talk show host who, upon finding out North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is a fan, secures an interview with the chubby oppressor. The CIA, not wanting to miss an opportunity, task Franco and his Producer/best friend Rogen with assassinating Jong-un.

Cue comedy hinjinx, the usual homo-erotic Franco/Rogen bond and an intriguing amount of Franco carrying what looks like a rescued Spaniel.

The Interview is currently slated for a late October release

  1. As a big fan of Franco, I eagerly look forward to this. And slightly embarrassed I’ve only just now heard of this. 😛

  2. Really looking forwards to this! Seth and James are epic together and I really liked Lizzy Caplan in True Blood so looking forwards to her performance in this. Can’t wait!
