The first trailer I saw for Gravity was about 6 weeks ago when I was sat waiting for the ultimately disappointing Pacific Rim to start. It was the first I had heard of Alfonso Cuaron’s new offering and the few brief minutes I had of it whet my appetite like few other trailers I have seen this year. And the more you read about it’s grueling filming process the more impressive it becomes.
Oscar buzz is already in bountiful supply on the internet following it’s glowing reception at Venice recently and from the most recent trailer it looks like this could be the sleeper hit of the year. I don’t know about a Best Actress for Sandra Bullock but she may get Hyperventilator of the Year from this latest trailer.
This is the most genuinely excited I have been to see a movie in the cinema since Alpha Papa, and due to illness I missed that. So October 4th now has double the amount of pressure to satisfy my cinematic yearnings!
I can barely contain my excitement for this movie. Unfortunately it doesn’t come out in the UK until November. The anticipation will kill me.
Oh I didn’t realise there was a staggered release between US and UK. Rubbish! Now I have to wait another month
It really sucks but at least your won’t be alone in your suffering.
