IT’S OFFICIAL THE WORLD WILL END IN 2016! GRAB YOUR LOVED ONES/PETS/IRREPLACEABLE COLLECTABLE FIGURINES THAT ARE STILL IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND NO THEY’RE NOT A TOY GOD YOU JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND ME. THE END IS NIGH. NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This can be the only logical explanation for the tirade of huge movies that will hit cinemas in 2015. Add to that ever growing list Bond 24, for which it has just been announced Daniel Craig and Sam Mendes will both reteam to carry on where they left off with Skyfall.
Craig returning is no great surprise. Yes there was speculation that they may go for a younger Bond with the next installment but he has at least one left in him before they ship him off to the MI6 knackers yard. Mendes returning is a little more surprising given he seemed pretty set to walk away with creating what was for many the best Bond not starring a certain Scotsman who says “yesh” a lot.
Chances are this will be Craig’s final Bond outing. He has reinvigorated a flabby and wayward franchise suffering from invisible cars and being in any way associated with Madonna. It will be a big task to replace him but there are some fine actors out there. I for one would like to see a younger Bond with someone like Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddlestone or some one else preferably named Tom. Jones? No. Although….
Bond 24 is set for UK release on 23rd October 2015, with a worldwide release 6th November 2015.
